Job description
  • Manage all factory operation including quality control and production improvement.
  • Handle production planning to achieve company target and controlling production to maximize production efficiency.
  • Report daily, weekly and monthly to BOD about factory activities and productivity.
  • Coaching and training all employees, especially supervisors and team leaders to clear understanding of production processes and procedures within the factory.
  • Manage employees to perform the required operations according to quality plans and work instructions.
  • Organize and promote process of improvement and technical development in production area, follow up for implementation.
  • Set up new machine/ equipment applied into the production line to suit the company development and provide instruction to employees of how to operate correctly.
  • Setup the manufacturing standard operation procedures for every process in production department.
  • Establish factory operation performance indicators to measure the productivity.
  • Lead and participate in production and technical meetings (PPM meeting) in order to follow up production output results including quality issues, wastage reductions and find solutions for improvement.
  • Propose/ recommend improvement solutions in re-arranging production process.
  • Compose Health and Safety policies, implement in the company.
  • Maintain Safety and Clean working environment by complying with procedures and company regulations.
  • Organize for check, follow-up and control machines / equipment in good workable condition.
  • Follow up and maintaining LEAN, 6S system in the factory.
  • Key driver in collaborating with materials management, quality management system, engineering and logistics in order to produce items that are requested according to priority by customers.
  • Co-ordinate with all departments for smooth operation and continuous improvement.
  • Co-ordinate with design team as well as support the R&D team to develop new designs, make evaluation and studying a new product.
  • Coordinate with product team on new product project or product proposition analysis
  • Identify training needs and do coaching, training for production staff & workers.
Job Requirement
  • At least 10 year experiences in the furniture, interior manufacturing  industry
  • Desire to work in a challenging foreign work environment with cultural differences.
  • Have experience with wood and metal manufacturing
  • Reliability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to build good relationships internally and externally
  • Effective communication skills with fluent spoken and written English
  • Able to work under high pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • Judgment, decision-making, problem analysis and problem-solving
  • Team-leadership, persuasiveness, adaptability
  • People management, client & result orientation and transparency
