-  Manage cost and supplier sourcing in Vietnam country site: 

     +   As the first contact point between Global Material Category Managers and Vietnam site to engage in sourcing initiatives and activities

     +   Cooperate closely with Global Material Category Manager to drive the region sourcing strategy within Vietnam

     +   Support suppliers the development base in Vietnam

-   Control new material sourcing: Provide latest information to Category Development Team on material trends to the categories by gathering innovative input from relevant fairs, supplier meetings, footwear material show etc within the Asian context

-   Support Global Material Category Managers to ensure improvement from Poor Performing Suppliers through escalation through on site visit and guidance

-  Atleast 5 years in knowledge and proven experience working in technical material development or work experience in the shoe production industry
-  Knowledge of manufacturing process, fabrics, mechanical etc 

-  Understanding of ASTM and SATRA and other test standards

-  Understanding of the shoe materials industry and vendors

-  Strong communication skills; being able to communicate with global internal and external partners

-  Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a diverse group

-  Ability to network and influence internal and external resources
